Description/History

The only reunion held at Flagstaff Park in Mauch Chunk (now known as Jim Thorpe), Pa was in 1917. The park was located at a high point near the town and provided a beautiful overlook of the surrounding area. The trolley ride was known to provide a scenic ride to the top. It also contained a number of pavilions, walking trails, and a dance pavilion.
