The Association held one reunion at Manila Grove Park in 1911. Although it is noted that the park was in Tamaqua it was actually situated in Coaldale two miles east of Tamaqua. The large park was located next to the Coaldale State Hospital. On weekends, in the summertime the old steam trains, with engines chugging and throwing out thick black smoke, would bring people in on excursions from the cities of New York, Philadelphia, Allentown, Bethlehem, etc. They would spend the day there and then return home. It was a big park with a roller coaster, dance hall, other rides and a large soda fountain.
