Valley Forge

Valley Forge, PA (Chester county)

Description/History

The 15th reunion (1919) of the Association was held at Valley Forge Park. At the time of the reunion the park was a state park and did not become a national park until 1976. Based on information obtained from a National Park Service document for National Register of Historic Places registration, the location is known as the Rogers Building or also know as the Patriotic Order Sons of America (POSA) building. Our reunion announcement from 1919 notes that this is where the reunion was to be held. Based on this document the Google Maps link points to the building in question. Further research which will include reaching out to the POSA may clarify things further.
